FACIAL VOLUME, BALANCING & HARMONISING

When it comes to facial volume treatments less is often more for achieving a natural, well proportioned and harmonised appearance. The aim is to enhance one's natural beauty by restoring or creating facial volume, resulting in an improvement of volume, wrinkle reduction, and enhanced facial features. Volume restoration and facial balancing treatments can add volume to various areas, such as the cheeks, chin, jawline, and lips, with the goal of enhancing one's authentic self and boosting confidence.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
The treatment uses a gel-like substances that can restore volume in different areas of the face. They consist of hyaluronic acid, a complex sugar that occurs naturally throughout the body. They are temporary and will gradually fade over time and are commonly used to address various concerns related to aging. Hyaluronic acid attracts water to the skin, which helps to hydrate and restore it.
As we age, the volume of fat, muscles, bone, and skin in our face diminishes, leading to a sunken or sagging appearance, fine lines, wrinkles, folds, and thin lips. Volume restoration and facial balancing treatments can help these signs of aging by reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and to create volume and structure in the face and lips. They can be used to plump up smaller areas such as lips and tear troughs, as well as to restore volume to larger areas like cheeks and jawline.
Strategic placement of the gel can provide a non-surgical face lift without the downtime. Cheeks, Nasolabial folds, marionette lines, jowls and jawline are all assessed for maximum results.
Areas that can be treated included but are not limited to:
Facial Contouring
Cheeks
Chin
Temples
Nasolabial Folds
Tear Troughs
Marionette Lines
Jawline
Smokers/Lip Lines
Neck
Decolletage

To achieve facial harmonisation and a refreshed appearance, it is common to use a combination of wrinkle reducing, volume restoration or facial balancing and skin treatments. This approach can enhance the overall outcome and achieve the best possible results. Areas such as the lips, chin creases and marionette lines can benefit from this to prolong the effects.

The effects of treatment can be seen immediately after treatment, but it's common to experience swelling as a side effect. This swelling will gradually settle and improve over the next 2-4 weeks post-treatment, with the results of the treatment continuing to improve during this time.
The duration of the effects of treatment can differ from person to person, and is influenced by various factors such as metabolic rate, placement of the product, and the volume used. Softer gels usually last for 6-9 months, while thicker gels (such as those used for cheeks and jawline) may last for up to 18-24 months. To maintain the desired results, maintenance or top-up treatments can be done during this time. This helps to minimize any obvious changes in your appearance and ensure that the results remain consistent.
